Whether you're coming from down the road in Keynsham or making the trip from Scotland, here's everything you need to plan your weekend.
Over 80 people showed up. Sixteen black belts came through the door. Six sessions ran across the weekend, the music was on, the snacks were flowing, and the jiu-jitsu was excellent from start to finish. People made the trip from Scotland, London, Devon, and Ireland — and not one of them left disappointed.
It was exactly what a camp should be — high-level training, great people, and that rare feeling of a whole community coming together on the mat.
We're doing it again this summer — and this time we're putting in an order for some sunshine too.

The Sessions
This camp features 6 instructors and 6 sessions across the two days:
4 Gi sessions
2 No-Gi sessions
Each session is led by a black belt and covers a range of positions, techniques, and game plans. Whether you're a white belt looking to level up or a seasoned competitor wanting sharp, high-quality instruction, there's something in every session for you.
Between formal sessions there's plenty of open mat time — some of the best learning at any camp happens in those free rolls. Test what you've just been shown, roll with someone you've never met, and soak it all in.
A full timetable will be released closer to the date.

The Details
📅 Dates: Saturday 11th July & Sunday 12th July 2026
📍 Location: Moda Jiu-Jitsu Academy, Glenavon Farm, Bath Road, Saltford, BS31 3TJ
💰 Price: £50 for the full weekend camp
🥋 Open to: All levels, all affiliations welcome
Food, Drink & the Saturday BBQ
We'll have fruit, snacks, and nibbles on hand throughout both days to keep you fuelled between sessions — just like January.
New for this camp, we're planning an optional BBQ at the academy on Saturday evening from around 7pm. A brilliant way to wind down after a full day on the mats, share some food, and enjoy the company of everyone who's made the trip. The BBQ is optional and will be at an additional cost to cover food and drinks — more details to follow.
Flourish Restaurant is also right next door to the academy. Last camp we were able to offer attendees 10% off — fingers crossed we can arrange the same again this time. We'll confirm closer to the date.

Showers & Freshening Up
We now have a shower on site at the academy for a quick freshen up between sessions or at the end of the day.
For anyone wanting fuller facilities, the local sports centre offers a drop-in for £15 including changing rooms and showers — handy if you're heading straight out afterwards.
Photography
We'll have professional photographer Rob on site throughout the weekend capturing the camp. Photos will be available approximately one week after the camp, free of charge.
Rob puts a huge amount of work into getting brilliant shots of everyone

Getting Here
Moda Jiu-Jitsu Academy is at Glenavon Farm, Bath Road, Saltford, BS31 3TJ — right on the A4 between Bath and Bristol, and easier to get to than you might think.
By Bus: Take the 39 or X39 (First Bus) — the stop is Copse Road, right outside Glenavon Farm and a 1 minute walk to the academy. The service runs directly from Bristol Bus Station (via Temple Meads) and from Bath Bus Station, so if you're staying in either city you can get here without a car.
By Train: Keynsham station is the closest, with direct services from both Bristol Temple Meads and Bath Spa. A short taxi or rideshare gets you to the academy from there. Travelling from further afield? Both Bristol Temple Meads and Bath Spa are well connected from London, the South West, and beyond.
By Car: We're on the A4 between Bath and Bristol. Parking is available on site at the academy.
Why Come?
January's camp drew grapplers from right across the UK and Ireland — Scotland, London, Devon, and everywhere in between. If you were there, you already know. If you missed it, this is your chance.
Moda regularly draws grapplers from Bath, Bristol, Keynsham, Brislington, Saltford, and the wider BANES area — but this camp is for anyone who wants to come. And clearly, some people think it's worth a very long journey.
There is no better way to accelerate your jiu-jitsu than two full days of focused training alongside high-level black belts and a room full of people who love this sport as much as you do.
Book Your Spot
Spaces are limited — and if January is anything to go by, they'll go quickly.
